The Chase

Just because I care, doesn’t mean I love you.
Just because I dare to say, doesn’t mean I love you.

No matter how coquetry is the situation,
I cannot fall  for this irrational illusion,
what I call as ‘The Immortal Infatuation’.

The thing you call love,
is just a wispy rhythm you see
and this envisage
in no time will fade with wee

Love is a false impression
a Mirage, one which you fall for
a delusive faith, a subterfuge
a misted semblance you desire for

The sooner you realize the better
that it’s an unimpeachable fictitious phase
But the dumb you are,
for you are still running in this lost chase.
